Mojibur Rahman Khoinkuti was born on the 17th of June, 1951, in Shibpur Upazila of Narsingdi District. His journey into the realm of nutrition and health began while pursuing a Bachelor of Science at Jagannath University College when he secured a position at the Public Health Nutrition Institute of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Government.
His commitment to expanding his expertise led him to receive training in nutritional chemistry across Indonesia, Thailand, and India under the World Health Organization (WHO) fellowship. He further honed his skills in "Food Analysis" at Mahidul University in Bangkok, Thailand. Additionally, he undertook training in "Chemical Analysis in Food, in the Field of Food Additives and Food Compositions" from the Department of Medical Science in Bangkok, Thailand, and the Nutrition Research and Development Center in Bogor, Indonesia. He also earned a diploma in Health Technology from the Bangladesh National Faculty of Medicine, a three-year program.
Originally a nutrition researcher and writer, Mojibur Rahman Khoinkuti dedicated himself to disseminating nutritional knowledge among mothers, children, and the general public through his writings. His published works include notable books such as "Rijupath Pushtikatha," "Pushtikatha in Alphabets," "Pushtikatha Read in Rhymes," "Adarsh Patha Pushtikatha," "Charu Patha Pushtikatha," and more.
In addition to his books, Mojibur Rahman Khoinkuti has contributed essays, stories, rhymes, and poems on topics ranging from "Baby Food" and "Nutritious Jackfruit" to "Princess's Wedding" and "Expensive Food." He has also written various papers and is currently involved in crafting the manuscript for the documentary film "Khada-Pushti-Shastya-Series-1," produced and published by the Public Health Nutrition Institute. Furthermore, he has served as a joint author/editor for books such as "Nutrition and Balanced Food," "Pushti Suhrid of Health Workers," "Nutrition Introduction," and "Nutrition Barta," along with creating numerous poster leaflets and slogans.
Beyond his contributions to literature and nutrition, Mojibur Rahman Khoinkuti is the founder of Khoinkoot High School in Shivpur, Narsingdi. His dedication to education was recognized on International Literacy Day in 1995 when he received the Best Author '95 award for his exceptional work in the "Rijupath-Pushtikatha," "Varnamalaye Pushtikatha," and "Chharaye Padhaye Pushtikatha" categories in the coordinated non-formal education extension program organized by the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Department of Primary and Mass Education.
